when vocation meets motivation
The musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac is committed to building a cultural complex which is accessible to all, by transforming its spaces, and providing a wide variety of activities and innovative partnerships.
Orange Foundation’s motivation is to give everyone the opportunity to communicate better by making culture accessible. The fruit of this collaboration is the Sensory picture-book of the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac.
The Orange Foundation works to make the world more accessible
Since taking its first steps in 1987, the Orange Foundation has been running a major sponsorship program that builds on the company’s mission: to allow everyone to communicate better. By fighting against sensory deprivation, promoting greater autonomy in daily life and work and encouraging cultural and social development, the Orange Foundation is working to make the world more accessible and create a social bond.
The Orange Foundation supports projects aimed at improving the quality of life for the visually impaired and the blind by facilitating access to information, education and culture, giving priority to reading and to cultural sites.
The Foundation supports the development of other adapted and varied systems to promote access to culture and help achieve greater independence. These systems include audio books and books written in braille, and audiodescriptions in opera houses, theaters and cinemas.
